Christmas 2020

Happy Christmas Eve to all!

It doesn’t matter if you are Christian or Pagan this holiday, it has something for all. Even if you are agnostic and are just waiting for this year of trials and tribulations to end this holiday signifies an end to a long stressful year and the beginning of a new bright day.

We have turned the corner here in the northern hemisphere and the days now grow longer (for those of us suffering from SAD). As of this writing, there is no snow here in the Puget Sound area and most of our residents like it that way. I know this disappoints the kids and children at heart as everyone dreams of snow and a white Christmas.

I usually wax a little sadly reminiscent at this time of year but I don’t have that feeling this year. Perhaps it is that our year and lead up to this holiday has been off, I don’t know but I just feel well about this Christmas tide. I do miss the Christmas celebrations of ere with large family gatherings and gifting with the meals and kids waiting for bedtime to await the arrival of Santa. I usually also am late with gifting and shopping so that I question whether or not those being shipped will arrive at the destination before Christmas day. This year I actually got gifts sent out early to everyone…Yes, hand picked and packed, not ordered online or auto drop shipped. Sent out via USPS in person.

So, after waxing so eloquent (LOL), I wish each and every one of my five or six readers a VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS. May your holidays be bright and merry and all of your dreams and wishes come true.

To my children, I love each of you and your families and wish we could see each other more.

To my friends, I love you as well and can’t wait to see each of you again.

To those of you that I don’t know, I hope each of you knows that I only hope to entertain and sometimes enlighten you and perhaps to meet you some day as well.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

Jeff
