The longest week

So this is turning in to the longest week forever. Overtime shift Saturday night regular shift sunday regular shift Monday today also known as Labor Day.

Spent yesterday sprucing up the beast. Spent today getting some stuff packed. This week is turning into the longest ever getting ready to leave on Thursday morning. I think we’re going to be able to minimize everything that we’re taking in the truck. Only a couple of suitcases we eating stuff a couple of coolers for drinks and of course my trusty metal detector.

A lot of things are running through my mind as we get ready. Do i rig up a video camera in the windshield? Do I just use my cell phone or my tablet to take video or pictures as were going down the road? Do I do a blog as we’re going down the road or do I do a vlog while we’re going down the road?  Third world problems… Lol.

First destination is going to be outside Rio Vista at Moores riverboat. Got to get our boat time in. Second destination San Leandro California got to get our bay time in.

The Beast is ready to roll. Oil changed, new glow plugs, full diagnostic done.  He needs a bath before we go but the only thing left is to put the bags in and head south.
