Tamarack RV Park
Tamarack RV Park is located in Coeur D’Alene Idaho. This park was a last minute decision for us. We planned on saving the money and boondocking at Camping World of Spokane but when we arrived in town it was 90 degrees and climbing. The Camping World of Spokane-Liberty Lake is in the open prairie East of Spokane and there is not even a hint of shade anywhere near it. As we do not have the right set up to run the AC off grid we decided that the money would be well spent to have full hookups for the night.
We called Tamarack and they were happy to have us in for the night and set us up with a pull-thru which accommodated our rig. This park was developed in the days before monster rigs and multiple slide outs and therefore is a little tight in spots.
They are a fully treed park with a pleasant common area with a grill, seating and a contemplation garden. The staff was friendly and courteous. There are about three pages of rules that are just common-sense and mostly pertain to long term renters and the lack of coverage for landlord/tenant rights under Idaho law. Again, just common-sense rules; don’t speed, abide by quiet hours and don’t do stupid things.
One note: they are closed on Saturdays to observe the faith based sabbath.
