Am I an Expert?
We have been engaged by a free poker site (designed for beginners) to produce an introduction to playing live poker in a casino video. This will include us providing scripting, videography, sound and light along with editing and voice overs. Of course, the key phrase here is “free”, which means we get no recompense for anything.
The key to agreeing to do this, on our part, is that there is a real need for this type of instructional video. Besides, the guy running the site has patched us both up. This actually resonates with an earlier post (https://bigfokkerdog.com/rv-expert/) where I ask the question of What is an Expert or Veteran. I guess that I am indeed an expert veteran in the world of Poker and some other disciplines. I have been playing poker in brick and mortar casinos since 1988 and E has been playing in them since 2004 (late bloomer). E is a casino expert from way back at other disciplines and writes the Flynn and Ollie Blog (https://flynnandollie.com/).
I would definitely describe both of us as being veteran poker players. We have been playing since before it was a “sport”. We do not play poker for a living, so we’re not really “professionals”, but we track wins/losses along with trends and how we play. Occasionally we even supplement our income if the cards are running right.
Does this mean that we are the “Experts” you should turn to for advice? I say YES! We know people who run Vlogs and Podcasts who are exactly like us (or even less knowledgeable) and people throng to hear them speak or watch the next production on YouTube or a podcast.
Should you look for a Vlog or podcast on my favorite subjects soon? maybe. In the meantime you can go critique my early work at https://www.youtube.com/@bigfokkerdog. Go ahead, rake my efforts over the coals, I am NOT an expert at the tube.
